Reid Wood was born in the United States in 1948
and currently lives in Oberlin, Ohio.
He entered the Mail Art network in 1981,
using the name State of Being.
He also works in collage, artist's books,
digital imagery, and sometimes performance.
The cards in this book are from a series
he began in 2004, in response to Vittore Baroni's
call for Obscure Actions.
These cards are left anonymously
in public places for people to find.
